YVES JACKET NSAVYIMANA

Yves is currently a 6th year medical student at the National University of Burundi and Intern at the University Teaching Hospital of Kamenge (CHUK). He served as Director of the Standing Committee on Human Rights and Peace (SCORP) within the medical students association of Burundi (ABEM-Burundi). Furthermore, he has recently been elected as a National Member Organization President of ABEM-Burendi within the International Federation of Medical Students’ Association, and currently coordinating a national project on Tuberculosis. He is also heavily involved in various ambassadorial efforts, such as serving as a Planetary Health Campus Ambassador and helps coordinate YAGA Burundi’s partnership with YouLead Africa. As an avid researcher, he has presented at the East African Health Scientific Conference and has multiple accepted research abstracts.
