Martin Lubowa

Martin Lubowa is a graduate of the African Leadership Academy and a social entrepreneur passionate about leveraging technology to merge science and entrepreneurship, creating enterprises that address pressing healthcare and education challenges in Africa. He has served as the co-founder and managing director of the Africa Students Support Network (AFRISSUN), a community-based non-profit organization in Uganda that provides scholarships and entrepreneurship training to disadvantaged students. Martin also co-founded Primetel, a telemedicine company in Tanzania that utilizes USSD technology to provide healthcare services, starting with the Moduli region. Additionally, he has worked as an implementation lead for Docta, a telemedicine application developed in collaboration with VSEE Health, a US-based company. This initiative aims to ensure healthcare access for over 30 million people in Cameroon and the Sahel region.
