Felix Bongomin

Dr. Bongomin is an Ugandan trained physician with dual specialization in internal medicine and medical mycology. He received his training from Gulu University, The University of Manchester, and Makerere University. Bongo is a lecturer at Gulu University Medical School. He has published widely in the areas of infectious diseases epidemiology, COVID-19, fungal diseases, and TB, with over 100 peer-reviewed publications cited over 2,000 times. He is a fellow of European Confederation of Medical Mycology and a member of the World Health Organization Expert Committee on Priority Fungal Pathogens
